It all started with, “you should get a hobby”!
In 2010 we purchased our 224 acre ridge-top farm during the middle of a cold, very snowy winter. The snow drifts were so high, blocking the driveway making it difficult to see the property-but we bought it anyway. It wasn’t until spring that we realized its true beauty.
After years of talk, in the summer of 2018, my husband took his love of distilled spirits and his art for construction and broke ground on St. Mary’s Distillery. We love the beauty the ridge has to offer and had the goal in mind to share it with the world.
We specialize in small batch, craft spirits-Brandy and Rum.
A custom built barn, made to stand for generations to come. St. Mary’s Distillery was constructed by the owner from ground up. Every aspect of this project was designed and customized by the owner with help from Amish neighbors, family, and friends.
